Mary and her team work closely with affluent individuals and families helping them streamline the complexities and potentially capitalize on opportunities of substantial wealth. She has significant experience advising senior executives, company founders, entrepreneurs, professional athletes and multi-generational families.

Mary began her career in 1987 with PaineWebber and in Silicon Valley serving clients in the technology sector. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and PIM Portfolio Manager, she is qualified to take clients' complex financial matters and help translate them into a clear, straight-forward approach to help achieve their individual goals.

Mary directs client initiatives across multiple areas including investment management, stock option analysis, retirement planning services, hedging and monetization of concentrated equity positions, life insurance analysis and funding, and wealth preservation strategies and transfer services.

With offices in Washington, DC and Sarasota, FL, Mary is actively involved in the local and international programs that support business development, improvement of the environment, and education to meet the needs of the future. She and her family support All Children's Hospital and Parks of the World. She has served as Secretary of the Board of the National Women's Business Center. She is a founding Board Member of the Women's High Tech Coalition. As co-chair of the New York programs, Mary brought in leading figures to speak on the role of technology, business and policy.

Mary resides in Longboat Key, Florida and Washington DC with her husband, John, and son, Ian. Away from the office, Mary enjoys boating, fly fishing and watching her son play baseball.

Working with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) Professional
A Financial Advisor who has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, or CFP® professional certification has demonstrated skill in analyzing and developing personal long-term financial strategies. As a CFP® professional, Mary has met rigorous education, examination, experience and ethics requirements. Additionally, every two years, Mary completes 30+ hours of continuing education credits, including two hours of CFP Board-approved ethics continuing education that focuses on CFP Board's Standards of Professional Conduct. The CFP® certification requires adherence to the Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and to Financial Planning Practice Standards. A CFP® professional must also comply with the CFP® Board's background checks required in the enforcement of this code of ethics and practice standards.

Working with a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)
Mary holds the CRPC® designation having completed a course of study encompassing pre-and post-retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations. Additionally, she completed rigorous examinations on complex financial and theoretical concepts. Mary must renew her designation every two-years by completing 16 hours of continuing education, reaffirming adherence to the Standards of Professional Conduct and complying with self-disclosure requirement

Working with a Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager

As a PIM Portfolio Manager, Mary has met stringent criteria, meeting eligibility requirement which include a minimum of two years experience as a portfolio manager, five years of industry experience, successful completion of various securities exams, and approval of branch and regional superiors.

At Well Fargo Advisors, PIM portfolio managers must complete advanced training, including an ethics exam, proxy exam and an advanced 40-hour portfolio management training course. Only five percent of the firm's Financial Advisors have met the criteria to act as PIM Portfolio Managers.

Linda Marshall has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a dedicated team member who applies her organizational and problem solving skills to provide key operational contributions, administrative support and client service that we feel exceeds expectations.

She plays an important role on the team and is responsible for making sure the operations of the team run smoothly. She is responsible for day-to-day administration, opening new accounts, updating existing account information, managing account transfers and answering questions regarding statements. Her extensive experience allows her to try to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently.

As a fully-licensed member of the team, Linda holds her Series 7 and 63 securities registrations and is able to assist clients with executing transactions in their accounts.

Linda lives in Bradenton, Florida. She and her fiancée, Mike, enjoy many activities including biking and kayaking. They especially enjoy camping and exploring the beautiful Florida waterways with their kayaks and love catching a glimpse of dolphins. Linda is active in the community and gives her time to Habitat for Humanity and animal rescue organizations in the area.
